About Learn Pass Grow

Learn it. Pass it. Grow from it. That is the whole method, and it is also how this site is laid out: tools that help you study, tools that tell you where your grade actually stands, and honest pages about what comes after you pass.

Why we built it

The internet is full of grade calculators. Most of them give you a number with no working, assume you are on the US 4.0 scale, and quietly break if your syllabus weights things differently. Students in Canada, the UK, India, and Australia get told to convert their marks first, which is where the mistakes come from.

So every calculator here does three things the others do not: it shows the formula and the arithmetic it used, it works in your grading system rather than translating you into someone else's, and it keeps working offline once you have opened it.

How we handle claims about studying

Study advice is a genre built largely on folklore. Our study guides cite the actual research behind every technique they describe — spacing, retrieval practice, interleaving — and where the evidence is thin, we say so instead of filling the gap with confidence. The learning-styles idea, for example, is popular and unsupported, and we have a page saying exactly that.

We never claim a tool will raise your grade. Tools compute arithmetic; guides describe evidence. Anything shaped like a guarantee would be a lie, and our build checks reject it.

Practice tests

Every question on this site is original, written to cover the same subject areas a common entry-level certification covers. We do not reproduce questions from real exams — that would breach copyright and, for most certifications, the agreement candidates sign. The practice tests are for self-assessment and preparation; the certifying body's own materials and content outline are always the source of record, and we link them on every certification page.

What your browser keeps

Grades are personal, so nothing you type into a calculator leaves your device. The tools run entirely in your browser; saved things — your grading scale, pinned tools, the Practice-Test Ledger — live in that browser's own storage and are never uploaded. The only thing we ever ask for is an email address, and only if you want the study kit.

Who we are

Learn Pass Grow is built and operated by Cosyslabs Inc., an Ontario, Canada software studio. The site is free and supported by advertising placed below the tools — never inside them. Reach us at [email protected] or through the contact form. If you find a calculation that disagrees with your syllabus, tell us — that is the report we most want to get.

learnpassgrow.com is a private, independent education website. It is not affiliated with any school, university, examination board, or certification body.

Grading scales vary by institution — your school's own table and syllabus govern. Conversions shown here follow common published conventions.
