The free study kit

Three printable sheets that turn the calculators on this site into a routine: plan the studying, walk into the exam prepared, and always know where your grade stands. Free, no account needed, and yours to print as many times as you like.

The study schedule template

A weekly planner laid out for spaced review rather than cramming: each subject gets a first pass, then deliberately spaced returns before the exam date you write at the top.

Spacing the same total study time across several sessions beats massing it into one, and the effect is one of the most reliably replicated findings in memory research. The template just makes the spacing the default instead of something you have to remember to do.

The exam-day checklist

The night-before and morning-of list: what to pack, what to re-read (and what not to), when to stop, and the timing plan for the exam room itself.

Most exam-day losses are logistical rather than academic — the wrong calculator, a missed room change, twenty minutes burned on question one. A checklist costs nothing and removes a whole category of preventable damage.

The grade tracker

A running record of every assignment, its weight, and your score — with a column for the running weighted average so you always know where you stand before the final.

The single biggest cause of a nasty surprise in week fourteen is not knowing the weighted picture in week four. Fill this in as you go and the final-grade calculator becomes a confirmation rather than a shock.

All three sheets download directly, with no email address and no account. There is a mailing list coming that sends them as one file along with the occasional new tool, and it will appear here once it can actually deliver — asking for an address before then would be collecting something we cannot yet honour.

Prefer to start with a tool? Work out what you need on your final, or plan the studying first.
