Is this the Network+ exam?
No. Every question is written from scratch to cover the same subject areas an entry-level networking certification covers. Reproducing questions from a real exam would breach both copyright and the candidate agreement, and it would prepare you badly: recognizing a memorized item teaches you nothing about the addressing or routing behind it.
What score suggests I am ready for the real thing?
Seventy percent is the threshold used here, but clearing it evenly across every topic matters more than clearing it on average. Networking failures cluster: someone strong on protocols and blank on subnetting can score well overall and still be unprepared. That is why the result breaks down by topic instead of giving you a single number.
How long should this take, and when should I sit it?
About twenty-five minutes at a steady pace, roughly a minute per question, which is close to real exam pacing. Sit it once before you study to find out where the gaps are, then again afterward to measure what moved. Starting at chapter one and reading everything is slower and tells you less.
Do I really need to do subnetting math by hand?
Yes, at least well enough to work without a calculator. Entry-level networking exams test it because the skill underneath is reading an address and knowing instantly which hosts are local and which are not. On the job you will use a tool, but you still have to recognize when the tool is answering the wrong question.
